In the near future, designers will likely be learning tools to create organic life, much like they learn 3D modeling today. With technologies such as DNA-synthesis and Crispr gene editing rapidly advancing, creators and engineers will bring to life a new generation of fauna and flora to augment existing natural systems and humans. This could potentially be used to create a wide range of artificial life forms, from simple organisms to complex, autonomous systems. Such tools could have significant implications for fields such as medicine, environmental science, or robotics. This project attempts to give a glimpse into this future to capture the imagination and start conversations.
